GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for a car accident she claims was caused by an electric company.

Dinnia Jordan filed a complaint on Oct. 17 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Electric Insurance Co., GE Oil & Gas Inc., GE Oil & Gas LLC, and Terry Tumminello. 

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Nov. 2, 2017 when the plaintiff was driving and was struck in the rear of their vehicle by a car owned and operated by the defendant.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Edward Womac Jr. of the Law Offices of Edward J. Womac Jr. & Associates LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 788646.
