Woman alleges she was injured by a Waste Pro colleague

GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages after she claims she was injured by a fellow employee.

Lolita Moore filed a complaint on Nov. 2 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Roland Turner, Waste Pro of Louisiana Inc., and Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Co.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Nov. 1, 2017 when the plaintiff entered the River Birch Landfill driving a Mack garbage truck as per her responsibilities. The plaintiff was injured when the defendant, who was also driving a waste truck, opened the turnstile off of the roll-off truck he was driving with struck the plaintiff's truck and caused the plaintiff injury.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Michael Riley in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John Molaison Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 789121.
