GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for an alleged slip and fall in a casino.
Nadine Foy filed a complaint on Nov. 5 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Treasure Chest Casino LLC.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident which took place on February 3, 2018 when the plaintiff was at the defendant's property at 5050 Williams Blvd in Jefferson Parish. The plaintiff was caused to slip and fall on water that was left on the ground.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by William Mura Jr. in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
