Man seeks over $400,000 from Patient Compensation Fund

GRETNA – A man alleges he is owed $400,000 for medical malpractice.

Roland Bourgeois filed a complaint on Nov. 2 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Patient Compensation Fund.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums owed from the defendant, alleging the defendant is indebted to the plaintiff in the balance of $400,000 for medical malpractice.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Robert Caluda of The Caluda Law Firm in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy Miller.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 789201.
