GRETNA – Pacific Union Financial filed a complaint on Nov. 8 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Joseph H. Johnson seeking a balance due of $103,084.01 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of failing to make required monthly mortgage payments.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff also is seeking to cover costs associated with insurance, maintenance and other fees related to caring and upkeep of the home.

Given the circumstances of the overdue balance, the plaintiff is asserting its right to "accelerate" the schedule by which the entire payment is due, according to court documents. A sale is being scheduled of the property, according to court documents.

The plaintiff is represented by Kristy Massey Finley of Dean Morris LLC in Monroe.
