Chase Bank seeks more than $78,000 on unpaid mortgage

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $78,000 on an unpaid mortgage.

JPMorgan Chase Bank, National Association filed a complaint on Nov. 15 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Errol J. Mayfield.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due, alleging the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $78,782.58 plus interest on payments for the monthly mortgage sums. The plaintiff alleges that despite the amicable demands made to the defendant, the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff the sums due.

The defendant is accused of sums due on a mortgage.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Fred Daigle of Louis Graham Arceneaux in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John Molaison Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 789591.
