GRETNA –– A man's injury at a Metairie shopping mall prompted a recent lawsuit.
Glenn Causer Jr. and Lisa Causer filed a complaint on Nov. 9 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Greater Lakeside Corporation, which operates the Lakeside Shopping Center, and U.S. Specialty Insurance Company.
According to the complaint, Glenn Causer was exiting a restroom at the shopping center in Metairie when the door violently struck him in the back and injured him.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by J. Bart Kelly III of Alvendia, Kelly & Demarest LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
