Lost wire transfer money prompts lawsuit

GRETNA –– Wells Fargo faces a lawsuit from a company alleging the bank lost more than $5,400 from a wire transfer.

Central Healthcare Services Inc. filed a complaint on Nov. 13 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Wells Fargo Bank National Association.

According to the complaint, Wells Fargo refused to return missing funds lost in a wire transfer. The plaintiff alleges the bank owes $5,414.80, but failed to take the appropriate action.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Bernad L. Charbonnet Jr. of the Law Office of Bernard L. Charbonnet Jr. in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
