Nationstar Mortgage sues for $63,182.98

GRETNA – Nationstar Mortgage filed a complaint on Nov. 8 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Jesus Orlando Dominguez and Eloina Nancy Carmenate (Dominguez) in a case involving an alleged overdue mortgage payment.

The plaintiff is seeking damages for an unpaid balance on a mortgage. The suit states that the defendant has failed to keep up with payments on a property. The plaintiff has made amicable demands but to no avail. The defendant still remains negligent in the sums due of $63,182.98 plus an interest of 4.25% per year until paid, according to court documents.

The defendant is accused of sums due on a mortgage. The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Kristy Massey Finley of Dean Morris LLC in Monroe.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.
