Mortgage company is seeking more than $198,000

GRETNA – Trustmark National Bank filed a complaint on Nov. 13 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Mary Beth L. Quintana (Lambert). 

The plaintiff is seeking damages for an unpaid balance on a mortgage. The suit states that the defendant has failed to keep up with payments on a property. The plaintiff has made amicable demands but to no end, according to the lawsuit. The defendant still remains negligent in the sums due of $198,627.43 plus an interest of 2% per year until 2057, according to court documents.

The defendant is accused of sums due on a mortgage.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Emily E. Holley of Shapiro & Daigrepont LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr.
