Wells Fargo is seeking more than $67,000 on an overdue mortgage.

GRETNA – Wells Fargo Bank filed a complaint on Nov. 8 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Christine Decorte Lavin and Charles William Lavin.

The plaintiff is seeking damages for an unpaid balance on a mortgage, according to court documents. The suit states that the defendant has failed to keep up with payments on a property. The plaintiff has made amicable demands but to no avail, according to the lawsuit. The defendant allegedly owes $67,619.06 plus an interest of 4.875% per year until paid.

The defendant is accused of sums due on a mortgage.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Candace Miers Bowen of Dean Morris LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
