Driver sues after wheels allegedly come off her vehicle

GRETNA – Jaquanna M. Cage filed a complaint on Nov. 16 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Llantera El Ceibeno No. 2, LLC, after the wheels of her vehicle allegedly came off while she was driving it.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident on Dec. 22, 2017, when the plaintiff was driving her Cadillac Escalade on Airline Highway in Jefferson Parish.

The suit states that the plaintiff's wheels came off her vehicle, causing a crash. The plaintiff's car had been serviced by the defendant prior to the incident, leaving the defendant liable for the damages suffered by the plaintiff.

The defendant is accused of negligence for an incident.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by James B. Guest in Kenner.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
