GRETNA – Brenda Davis filed a complaint on Nov. 19 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Polo Transportation LLC.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking back pay for when the plaintiff was employed by the defendant from September 2017 to Oct. 15, 2018.

The suit states that the plaintiff was paid $400 bi-weekly as a bus monitor and that after her termination from her job, the plaintiff was entitled to two paychecks.

The defendant, however, has failed to compensate the plaintiff for the portion of her payment that she is owed.

The defendant is accused of sums due for hours worked.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Ravi K. Sangisetty Law Firm LLC in New Orleans.
