Delgado Community College claims former student owes over $1,200

GRETNA – A community college is seeking more than $1,200.

Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a complaint on Nov. 20 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Samuel Taylor.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account the defendant has failed to pay off. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff the balance owed for services delivered. Currently, the defendant is indebted for the balance of $1,294.60 plus interest. The plaintiff has made amicable demand but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jessie L. Cannon of the Louisiana Department of Justice.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald Rowan Jr.
