Woman says she was injured in accident with Papa John's driver

GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for a car accident with a Papa John's driver.

Terranisha Banks filed a complaint on Nov. 28 in the 24th Judicial District Court against The Cincinnati Insurance Co.; Rohoho Inc., dba Papa John's Pizza; and Lauren Aberle.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Dec. 8, 2017 when the plaintiff was driving her vehicle on Lapalco Boulevard in Jefferson. The suit states the defendant merged into the plaintiff's lane of traffic, causing an incident and resulting in injuries to the plaintiff. The suit states the defendant was in the scope of her employment with Papa John's when the incident took place.

The defendant is accused of negligence and failure to take the proper precautions.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Ellen Baggett in Gretna.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael Mentz
