Credit Acceptance Corp. claims more than $5,800 is owed on open account

GRETNA – A credit agency is seeking more than $5,800 in sums due on an open account.

Credit Acceptance Corp. filed a complaint on Dec. 3 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Brian Black and Nicole Luquette.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off the balance on an account. The plaintiff is seeking $5,841.31 plus interest, and claims that despite amicable demand the plaintiff has not been paid the balance owed.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Naomi Cohen Ivker of Zarzaur & Schwartz PC in Birmingham, Alabama.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
