GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for a fall at a Hilton hotel.
Cheryl Robinson filed a complaint on Dec. 8 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Park Hotels and Resorts Inc., aka Hilton Hotels, and XYZ Insurance Co.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Dec. 24, 2017 when the plaintiff alleges she was injured at the address of 901 Airline Drive in Kenner. The plaintiff says she was walking on the sidewalk when she was caused to trip and fall on a rock that had been left on the ground.
The defendant is accused of negligence and failing to take the appropriate precautions.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jahida Lewis Crawford of the Law Office of Lewis Crawford in Kenner.
The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius Regan.
