Delgado Community College seeks over $2,700 from former student

NEW ORLEANS – A community college is seeking over $2,700 in sums due.

Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a complaint on Dec. 7 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Ramos D. Travis.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The defendant has allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff for sums accumulated. The plaintiff is seeking payment for the balance of $2,772.75 plus interest. The plaintiff sought amicable demand but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by Jessie Cannon of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Melvin Zeno.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2018-12282.
