University of Louisiana claims former student owes more than $2,500

GRETNA – A university is seeking more than $2,500 in sums due on an open account.

University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through the University of Louisiana at Lafayette filed a complaint on Dec. 17 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Lauren Gaspard.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The plaintiff is seeking $2,581 plus interest from the defendant. The plaintiff alleges that they have made amicable demand, but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Amy Richard of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald Rowan Jr.
