Law firm seeks over $13,000 on open account

NEW ORLEANS – A firm is seeking over $13,000 in sums due from a client who failed to pay.

Lowe, Stein, Hoffman, Allweiss & Hauver LLP filed a complaint on Dec. 17  in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against David Brinks.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has been negligent in paying off the balance due to the plaintiff for services issued. Currently, the plaintiff is seeking payment of $13,893.65 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Gerald Wasserman of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney Cates IV.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2018-12587.
