Discover Bank sues customer for over $16,000 on alleged open account

GRETNA – Discover Bank alleges that a customer is indebted for more than $16,000 on an open account.

Discover Bank filed a complaint on Jan. 2 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Russell J. Bonamour.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off an open account in the balance of $16,208.72 plus interest. The plaintiff allegedly has made amicable demand but to no avail from the defendant.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Paul Brennan of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn Ansardi.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 790842.
