Bank of America seeks over $106,000 on unpaid mortgage

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking more than $106,000 on an unpaid mortgage from a customer.

Bank of America filed a complaint on Jan. 4 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Sethan J. Hawkins and Connie Clayton Hawkins.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an unpaid mortgage. The suit states the defendant has been negligent in paying off a balance due on a mortgage. The plaintiff is seeking payment in the balance of $106,669 plus interest of 4 percent per year from July 1, 2017 until the balance is paid in full.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an unpaid mortgage.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Kristy Massey Finley of Dean Morris LLC in Monroe.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee Faulkner Jr.
