Bank of America seeks more than $13,000 on open account

GRETNA – Bank of America is suing a woman who allegedly owes more than $13,000 in sums due.

Bank of America N.A. filed a complaint on Jan. 8 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Eileen F. Colson.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off an open account with a balance of $13,655.72 plus interest. The defendant has allegedly remained negligent in the balance owed despite being given amicable demands from the plaintiff.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy Miller.
