GRETNA – A bank alleges that a woman has failed to pay off a balance of more than $2,900 on a credit card.
Barclays Bank Delaware filed a complaint on Jan. 11 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Carrie L. Winford.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has been negligent in paying off $2,916 plus interest. The plaintiff claims to have made amicable demands to the defendant, but to no avail.
The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Paul Brennan of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle Taylor.
