Man alleges his wife was injured in a McDonald's

Lawsuits

GRETNA – A man is seeking damages on behalf of his wife who reportedly slipped and fell in a McDonald's.

Clement P. Donelon filed a complaint on Jan. 14 in the 24th Judicial District Court against CLB Investment LLC and McDonald's Corp.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Jan. 17, 2018, when the plaintiff was at the McDonald's at 3532 Severn Ave. in Metairie. The suit states the plaintiff was caused to slip and fall on a portion of ground that was not cleaned up or disclosed to guests. The plaintiff allegedly was caused injury due to the fall.

The defendant is accused of negligence and failing to ensure that the premises were safe.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Clement Donelon in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle Taylor.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 791219.
