Capital One claims defendant owes more than $2,200

GRETNA – Capital One alleges it is owed more than $2,200 on an open account.

Capital One Bank filed a complaint on Jan. 17 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Yvonne N. Laker.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay a balance of $2,242 plus interest. The plaintiff has made amicable demand, but the defendant allegedly remains negligent for the balance owed.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Laura Guliuzo of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sullivan Jr.
