Autovest seeks more than $9,600 on an unpaid auto loan

GRETNA – A lending company is seeking more than $9,600 on an unpaid car loan.

Autovest LLC as assignee of GFC Lending LLC filed a complaint on Jan. 18 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Ashley Leconte and Tommy Peavy.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has been negligent in paying $9,634 plus interest on an auto loan. The defendant allegedly has received amicable demand from the plaintiff but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Joseph Fick Jr. of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen Enright Jr.
