Man claimes he's owed over $13,000 on a loan to repair termite damge

GRETNA – A man is seeking damages, claiming a woman never repaid a loan.

Louis Phillip Goaux Jr. filed a complaint on in the 24th Judicial District Court against Kim Brady Griffin.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off a balance of $13,647.76 plus interest. The plaintiff allegedly loaned the balance to the defendant to pay for termite damage, but the plaintiff claims she has failed to pay off the balance owed.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Rebecca Robichaux of Louis, Phillip Gouaux Jr. in Raceland.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
