Hancock Whitney Bank seeks more than $149,000 on unpaid promissory note

GRETNA – A bank alleges it is owed more than $149,000 in sums due on an unpaid account.

Hancock Whitney Bank filed a complaint on Jan. 22 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Premier Event Management LLC and Warren W. Burke Jr.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an unpaid account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off a promissory note with a balance of $149,466 plus interest. The plaintiff alleges they have made demand from the defendant, but that they have not received the payment.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an unpaid account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by William Finn of Carver, Darden, Koretzky, Terrier, Finn, Blossman & Arfaux in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
