Firm seeks more than $16,000 on an unpaid promissory note

GRETNA –A firm is seeking more than $16,000 in a promissory note from a couple who has failed to pay off the balance.

Dwyer, Cambre & Suffern APLC filed a complaint on Jan. 23 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Alfonso Castillo and Yesenia Castillo.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on a promissory note. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off a promissory note in the balance of $16,630.91 plus interest. The plaintiff has made demands to the defendant but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on a promissory note.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Robert L. Seegers of Dwyer, Cambre & Suffern in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
