GRETNA – A community college is seeking over $800 from a former student.
The Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a complaint on Jan. 22 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Kartisia Christina Esco.
According to the complaint, Esco failed to pay off an open account balance of $873 plus interest of 33.33 percent on the balance, totaling more than $1,000.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by Amy Richard of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald Rowan Jr.
