Discover Bank seeks $6,500 payment from negligent customer

GRETNA – Discover Bank is seeking more than $6,500, claiming its customer failed to pay off an open account.

The financial institution filed a complaint against Hristo S. Todorov on Jan. 24 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, Todorov failed to pay off a balance of $6,543.26 plus interest, despite amicable demand from the plaintiff.

Discover Bank is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Paul S. Brennan of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.


The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
