Bank sues man for alleged sums due on an open account

GRETNA – Discover Bank alleges that it is owed more than $6,000 on an open account.

The bank filed a complaint against Robert Corey on Jan. 24 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $6,208.05 plus interest. The plaintiff claims to have made amicable demand for the balance owed, but to no avail.

Discover Bank is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Paul S. Brennan of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.


The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
