GRETNA — An investigation company is seeking damages, claiming that it was not paid for three ongoing projects totaling more than $245,000.

John Carroll Investigations LLC filed a complaint on Jan. 29 in the 24th Judicial District Court against D&A Enterprises Inc. d/b/a ServPro of Fort Collins.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states that the defendant was receiving services from the plaintiff and that the plaintiff was kept on retainer to deliver services after Hurricane Harvey. The defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff fully for all of the services issued and is now indebted for the balance of $245,970.12 plus interest for three projects that have been left unpaid indefinitely.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by Matthew S. Almon of Stone Pigman Walther Witmann LLC in New Orleans.
