GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking more than $5,000 from a customer it claims has failed to pay off the sums due.
The bank filed a complaint against Stephon Rodgers on Feb. 1 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant has been negligent on an open account in the balance of $5,085.30 plus interest. Despite amicable demand, the suit claims, the defendant has failed to pay off the balance.
Capital One is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Laura A Guliuzo of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
