Capital One seeks more than $7,000 on a delinquent credit card bill

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking more than $7,000 in sums it alleges are due on an open account.

The financial institution filed a complaint against Ashley E. Bennett on Feb. 1 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the suit, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums of $7,426.87 plus interest on a credit card bill it alleges the defendant has failed to pay. Despite amicable demand, the complaint states, the defendant has not paid off the balance due.


The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, including attorney fees and court costs. Capital One is represented by Laura A. Guliuzo of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
