By Carrie Bradon | Feb 15, 2019

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking more than $5,700 from a customer it claims has been negligent.

The bank filed a complaint against Hristo Stoyanov Todorov on Feb. 1 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $5,705.96 plus interest. The suit claims that Bank of America has made amicable demand but to no avail, and that the defendant remains negligent.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The bank is represented by Jeffrey M. Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Biltt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
