GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking more than $3,000 from a man it claims has failed to pay off an open account.
The financial institution filed a complaint against Mario Campuzano on Feb. 1 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $3,433.34 plus interest. Capital One claims it has made amicable demand but the defendant has still failed to pay.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The bank is represented by Laura A. Guliuzo of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
