GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking more than $7,500 in sums it claims are owed by a negligent customer.
The financial institution filed a complaint against Alice W. Grainier on Feb. 1 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff is seeking damages of $7,530.22 plus interest that it claims the defendant has failed to pay on the balance due for a credit card. The plaintiff claims to have made amicable demand but the defendant remains negligent.
The plaintiff, being represented by Laura A. Guliuzo of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie, is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
