GRETNA – A door company alleges that it is owed more than $4,000 in sums due from a development company that has failed to pay for services rendered.

Jefferson Door Company LLC filed a complaint against Centerline Development LLC, Joseph Pursell, Jason A. Steger and Sarah Stassi on Feb. 7 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $4,401.42 plus interest. The plaintiff has made amicable demand, but to no avail, as the defendant still remains negligent for the balance owed.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account. The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs.

The plaintiff is represented by Roy J.D. Gattuso of Vezina & Gattuso LLC in Gretna. The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald A. Rowan Jr.
