GRETNA – A funding company alleges it is owed nearly $3,000 on an unpaid balance.
Midland Funding LLC filed a complaint against Gloria Soto on Feb. 7 in the 24th Judicial District Court. The plaintiff is seeking damages in the amount of $2,707.14 plus interest, according to the lawsuit. Despite amicable demand, the defendant has failed to pay the balance owed.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. Midland Funding is represented by Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
