Man accused of owing more than $5,000 on an open account

GRETNA – Midland Funding LLC alleges that a credit card customer is indebted to them for nearly $5,000.

The funding company filed a complaint against Wilfred Washington on Feb. 7 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off $4,901.79 despite amicable demand from the plaintiff.


The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory M. Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
