Capital One seeks more than $4,000 on open account

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking damages of more than $4,000 it claims a woman owes on an open account.

The financial institution filed a complaint against Christina Chauvin on Feb. 1 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $4,133.53 plus interest on an open account. The plaintiff says it has made amicable demand but to no avail.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. Capital One is represented by Laura A. Guliuzo of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.


The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
