Capital One seeks more than $10,000 from an allegedly negligent customer

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking more than $10,000 in sums it claims are due on an open account.

The financial institution filed a complaint against Keyonia Tyson on Feb. 1 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account.

The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $10,609.54 plus interest. Despite amicable demand from the plaintiff, the defendant remains negligent.


The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Laura A. Guliuzo of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
