Capital One claims customer owes $2,600 on an open account

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking more than $2,600 from a woman it claims has failed to pay off a balance due.

The financial institution filed a complaint against Shirley Almodovar on Feb. 7 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant has failed to pay a balance of $2,675.47 plus interest. The defendant has been made amicable demand by the plaintiff but to no avail.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. Capital One is represented by Linly L. Hall of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.


The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
