GRETNA – A couple is seeking damages after an individual was caused to fall in a baseball stadium due to an allegedly dangerous condition.
Mary Dietz and Warren Dietz Sr. filed a complaint on Feb. 14 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Jefferson Parish School Board and the Parish of Jefferson.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for negligence and failure to prevent an incident from taking place. On March 2, 2018, the plaintiff was at Alfred E. Bonnabel Field in Kenner. The plaintiff was walking up the steps in the grandstand when she was allegedly caused to fall due to benches that were in her way, causing injuries to the plaintiff.
The defendant is accused of negligence and failure to prevent an incident from taking place.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Joseph Piacun of Gennusa, Piacun & Ruli in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
