Woman claims she slipped and fell at Boomtown Casino

GRETNA –A woman is seeking damages for a slip and fall at a casino.

Claudette Tull filed a complaint on Feb. 14 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Pinnacle Entertainment Inc., dba Boomtown Ball Casino Westband, and ABC Insurance Co.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on April 13, 2018 when the plaintiff was at the Boomtown Casino, 4132 Peters Road in Harvey. The plaintiff allegedly was caused to slip and fall on a slippery substance that had been left on the ground and resulted in the plaintiff's injury.

The defendant is accused of negligence and failing to prevent an incident from taking place.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Mark Tauzier of Yieger Lanasa Tauzier LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
