GRETNA – A man alleges that he was injured when he slipped and fell in an AutoZone.

Miloslav Valentina filed a complaint on Feb. 15 in the 24th Judicial District Court against AutoZone Stores LLC.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place at the AutoZone at 990 Manhattan Blvd. in Harvey. The suit states that the plaintiff was exiting his vehicle when he was caused to slip and fall on a substance that was left on the ground, resulting in injuries to the plaintiff.

The defendant is accused of negligence and failure to prevent an incident from taking place.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Erin Fisher of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald Rowan Jr.
