Capital One seeks $3,500 on a customer's open account

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking more than $3,400 it claims is due on a woman's open account.

The financial institution filed a complaint against Candace B. Richardson on Feb. 1 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $3,486.44 plus interest on an open account. Despite amicable demand, the suit claims, the defendant has remained negligent.

Capital One is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Laura A. Guliuzo of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.


The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
