NEW ORLEANS – Louisiana Federal Credit Union is seeking more than $700,000 on an unpaid mortgage balance.
The credit union filed a complaint against 2216 Amelia St. LLC on Feb. 15 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant is indebted for the balance of $715,000 on a real estate mortgage after failing to keep up with the monthly payments.
Louisiana Federal Credit Union seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Jeffrey A. Jones of D'Aquila, Contreras & Vega in Kenner.
The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
